I see several vehicles a day that are set up as overlanders. I’ve always wanted to have some sort of card I could give the driver or place on their vehicle somewhere. A card inviting them to check us out. Thoughts on this?
We’re working on this, thank you for the suggestion! I was just talking to @Cassiano about this, thank you for surfacing it.
Seems like it could be a double edged sword, could bring in some really solid people, but it could potentially open the door to a lot of riffraff vs genuine growth, but who am I to say im just some dude @Matthew found on instagram ![]()

@Lone_Angler Haha!
I appreciate the sentiment. I’m going to better define the culture/vision here. The purpose – per the op protocol – is to create a space where we can convene together, prepare for the outdoors and defend what we’ve built together.
Maintaining the quality of this group is important to me - some online forums/FB groups are a quantity play. I want the quality here to maintain. What that looks like practically is something I intend to better communicate. I’ve done hundreds of nights of trips with majority of people in this community as it stands.
And many folks here have branched off and done trips with others.
It’ll be fun, however it unfolds. Even if the community stays where it’s at, I’m happy and this place is awesome to share stuff. Part of the purpose is to share that thing many of us find here… others to adventure with, for starters!
That right there is exactly what I was getting at. Just leaving things on every vehicle seen in parking lots could easily and quickly take away from that.
It is not for every vehicle in the parking lots. The intention is to limit it to the Jeeps in the parking lot only. Jokes aside, good point. Nonetheless, it would be nice to have some form of card when we meet people who seem to fit our culture. @Matthew OB has a strong code of conduct for prospective members. When you define the culture/vision, we will need to make sure people 1. understand it and 2. respect it. Easy to say, hard to accomplish, but it may be worth trying.
@Cassiano For meeting people I completely agree, having something to give them after a conversation would be prime ![]()
