I got a Bounty Hunter detector sometime ago, but haven’t used it in a long time. I want to start using it again. Of course, I detect within the boundaries of applicable laws. I would like to get a detector for gold hunting.

I am thinking about getting another detector that is more useful for gold prospecting.

What brand and model would anyone recommend? Something decent but not looking to come in at the top of the market either. I talked to my 8y/o grandson about this and he’s interested well.

I have heard good things about Minelab. I have a Bounty Hunter right now. I am going to start looking. I will post what I find.
