Hey I am John driving an 08 Landcruiser. Move to Utah 2 years ago. Previous has a 97 Landcruiser. I have been doing this overland deal for about 15 year now primarily in CA.
I am up for multi-day to week long trips.

Hey John, I just put in a follow request on your Instagram! I moved from CA to UT in 2017. Cheers, -Mike
Love seeing more Utah folk popping up
do have to ask though.. what was the deciding factor going from an 80 series to a 200? Especially a 97 of all years. I’d trade my first born for a 97 heritage edition
I do also love 200’s though

It was a anniversary 97. It needed an $800 head liner, $3000 in paint, probably $1200 in carpet, $1200 in front seat upholstery and I was tried of turtle speed over mountain passes due to 35s and all kitted out. Plus the brakes sucked even with upgrade from 100 series. But it was equally to any Rubicon on 35s.
